The Akashi Kaikyou Bridge links Kobe, Japan to Awaji Island. At the time of construction, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world. At night the lights along the bridge glow a rainbow of colors. I like to stand on the side of the mountain and watch them.

Slightly sad but hopeful. I like th winter wind and "The ships are blowing out to sea". Some lovely images here. (I only saw the bridge from the far distance, and only in daylight. Thank you for the night-time visit).

Wonderful melody and delightfully delicate accompaniment. But I am absolutely blown away by the awesome lyrics. So evocative!!!
