Liner Notes

I've seen Plini live many times and he's always great. I think I channelled his back catalogue a bit when sitting down to come up with a first track for FAWM 2025 yesterday. Somewhat derivative as a result, but I still like it!

Beautiful ethereal like intro with the harmonics. Awesome guitar playing and composing throughout. I like all the different guitar tones and the wonderful dynamic contrast used in your song. Super gratifying to listen to - you really take us on a journey. The tempo change was very cool and added even more intensity. I also have no idea what time you are in, but my ears really love the rhythm. The lead guitar just sings! Excellent song.

I’ve not heard of Plini, but really enjoyed this. It’s been a long time since I listened to such a complete guitar piece. Your playing is absolutely epic! Very cool indeed.

Top stuff. I've never seen a Plinus, let alone multiple Plini, so it all sounds fresh to me. Complex but flowing rhythm. Love how that rat-a-tat motif migrates to the guitars after the drums road-test it. Great to hear you again!

Another fan of odd time signatures here. A really enjoyable listen. Makes me think of Steve Hackett era Genesis.

This has some awesome movement to it. Sometimes tunes like this can just feel like a jam, but this has a good mix of spontaneous and more composed moments.

Plini fan here as well! Odd time sig(s)? Derivative?!? There are decades of music that have been derivative - this is a very enjoyable listen between the heavier chord sections, and the just on the edge of breaking up melodies.
