The Three Shards
Chapter 2: Piatra Fantoma

Across town, away from the chaos in Parliament, Double looks for answers to his brother's disapearance. He has brought the necklace he found in Knecht’s apartment to Mrs. Leatherwood. She has little to offer, but it’s an artifact familiar to Mr. Ri. The jeweled necklace is actually a string of Piatra Fantoma, ghost stones. Each cloudy Byzantium purple stone is a gateway to beyond.

Mr. Ri mediates with his hands hovering over the stones. He can sense the souls within. He explains that the necklace has saved the spirit of Aric Sylvestre but also sucked Jelly into the Void.

Without Jelly’s body, there is little Mr. Ri can do to help Double’s brother. With his physical form is missing. All they have are the stones.

There’s something understated to this one. I love this drum sound you’ve gone with, it sounds very icy which adds to the kind of meditative feel.

Oooh ghost stones, I have a feeling the story is about to get complicated. The sounds in this one are meditative, makes me feel like looking inward into a deep murky pool.

I hope you're making this series into a Bandcamp offering. Or at least that it'll be on SoundCloud. Excellent stuff! Beautiful orchestra! Love the reverb on the piano. BTW which set of keys and orchestra presets are you using? I imagine they're a Kontact offering?

Great use of drone-like sounds all through to give an ominous sense and also like the dynamics, rising and falling in volume to add more drama. Piano Colors is epic here and those strings, like!

Oh no! Jelly! How's he gonna get back? What about all the other poor souls trapped in the Void? And their bodies? I have so many questions! This was a brilliant soundtrack, the mystery and intrigue is perfect for this chapter!
