The Three Shards
Chapter 3: Shriveled and Dying

Each hour Jelly looks more like a corpse. The blush drains from his skin, leaving him ashy and gaunt. Aric tries to soothe Jelly, offering praise for Jelly’s attempt to help solve his murder. Otherwise, Aric is useless beyond explaining that the Void is a purgatory for the dead, but is feeding on Jelly’s living spirits, slowly killing him. But the arrogant aristocrat can’t leave well enough alone. Aric cracks Jelly’s hope explaining, “Without an empty host to hold your soul, you will eventually perish here.”

@chill4matt Let's see... it's got one instance of Kontakt with Woodwind Ensemble, Mysteria, Thrill, Noise Felt; one instance of Ugritone Drums and a couple other drum samples; one instance of Zebra; and two instances of Ample Guitar Hellrazer. The real "magic" is that a lot of the sounds are then pumped through effects plugins like Shaper Table, PSP Nitro and N2O, and Unfiltered Audio Triad. Then a bunch of these have sends to instances of Valhalla Supermassive. So in total, in FL Studio, it's only 7 instrument channels + 1 envelope controller channel and then a handful of effects for just 17 total patterns.

The sounds here are intoxicating! You must be using something besides Kontact for your productions? There's a lot to discover there. You've spent a great deal of time on your sound choices.

The softer feel of this one works well for the narrative, very much sense of unease all in the sound.

Again, great story and the music communicated the 'peril' very well. Looking forward to the next installment

That is really compelling right off and matches the narrative perfectly! Great sounds that play off each other well. Great!

This is the sound of being eaten alive for a very long period of time. Matter of fact. Those chaotic violins are chilling.

I love the cold chaos of this track. I keep thinking you're gonna break into a banging beat but the fact that you never do has me ON EDGE! And those frantic strings add so much depth.

I fear the worst for Jelly...

I love the story I just stumbled into. Music is pretty great as well. Fits wonderfully.
