I could listen to your guitar forever - so pretty! I really like the dissonance in the second chord in the intro and your fill areas. It adds a lovely tension. Such a beautiful sentiment in these lyrics and how lovely to write a song for your daughter! You have also captured one of the hardest parts of being a parent!

I was not prepared for how emotional this song made me! This is truly such beautiful, poignant ode to how a parent feels as they watch a child grow up and move away. How hard and heartbreaking. You've really captured the raw feelings of this experience. This was such a touching song. Well done!

As a fellow parent and also a glutton for punishment, I’m there for any song about the heartache of children leaving the nest. This one hit me in all the feels, I’m barely keeping it together. Beautifully played and sung. Love the change in effect you get from ending on the G and the the D on lines 2 and 4. But mainly this is a song to connect to on an emotional level, which I’m pretty sure I’ve done :)

That Bm has such a melancholy feel after the G. Can feel the powerful emotion coming through your voice - gorgeous. Lyrics tell a story that is so relatable. Nice job with the acoustic one take.
