"He'll (sung Hill) fill the mill with wheat and chaffe..." Came to me driving into work a few months back... and could hear it all in my head an old time, slow, very rhythmic, repetition, A Capella, lot's of voices in harmony, if not only voice perhaps some type of percussion for rhythm.... Thinking about it as I write might lend itself to a full blown, upbeat, "Save Me" Gospel Choir treatment... hmmm... Would love have some one take a swing at this one.

Feels like a nice gospel type song. I can hear with a choir, group sing instead. Big and bold. Sing it loud and strong!

Oh, I like this one a lot. I can definitely hear a way to sing it as a solo acapella song, but hoping someone picks it up who leans in to the harmonies.

Oh ya, the structure and content is definitely right in line with spirituals; I also hope someone picks this up. A great way to expand this would be to alternate in verses about wine so that it was a bread and wine mix happening 🍞 🍷

While I'm no expert on spirituals, this lyric brings a joyous, boisterous melody to mind immediately. I think I'd be singing along and clapping immediately from that repeated first line!
