Skirmish: Choreography (@atornberg)

Liner Notes

Thank you for a lovely skirmish theme. Here is my little offering. I think, apart from being a ballet music, it might be possible to have a bluesy song too. Please let me know if you are interested in collaborating. It would be great to have a bluesy vocal. The themes could be about having to dance while feeling not up to it, still needing to somehow make it happen / feeling bluesy in Winter, something like Grey Winter Blues but I'm happy to discuss the alternative ideas. Thank you for listening and for sharing your thoughts.

Oh my gosh, that is absolutely stunning - so much depth and feeling to it. There are so many things you could do with it. Music personally made me feel that the love of my life had gone away and my life had fallen apart and all I wanted to do was dwell on it, but I was having to force myself rehearse for a performance later that day. Definitely saw the bar with ballerina's exercising but the sound of the instrument itself and the depth of it, could make a very interesting slow tap number. Really, really love this!

Oooh so bluesy and beautiful, nice work on this one. Love that haunting melody, I can 100% see someone dancing to this.

A bluesy ballet! Love the ebb and flow and can imagine some wonderful choreography to this music!

There's a cool smokiness to this, with the rumbling low notes and the taught counterpoint in the high notes. It is almost angry. Really liking the use of triplet walk ups. A great rocking motion.

This is lovely, moody and evocative. If I wasn’t sick I’d try to come up with a vocal for you.

I heard the ballerinas! :) Nice job! I could see the barre and the pliés.

Inspiring sound track. Makes me wish I was a blues singer!
