Repointing is finished for the moment and everything hurts. Devoid of inspiration but I heard a lovely #chill #ambient from @mordoom and thought " now I should do something ambient. Haven't for ages." Indeed. So long past that I've lost all track of how to set the DAW up to cope with three separate keyboards, multiple synths and still record the MIDI as well as the sound. A terrible mess, and I realise I hadn't done any such since before the operatic disasters, and subsequently hauling myself back like mending a once-valuable but still cherished bit of shattered porcelain, concentrating more on song and single instruments. Sigh. Perhaps some things have their time. I don't ski anymore, either...

Anyway, here is an #improvisation which does NOT have a MIDI recording so I can't correct the overloud notes etc. It's chill, and the obsolescence arises from one of the patches being the Kore synthesizer, vanished to the void by Native Instruments, so you'll never hear it from anyone else now!

Beautiful improv Tim! Feels like a soundtrack to the last chapter/episode of anything that comes to mind; film, tv-series, story, life itself. The whole piece gives me the chills in a good way.

I have to confess to never having been initiated into the world of MIDI until the last few days when I went down the rabbit hole that is DAW tutorial videos. I now have a lot more respect for those of you who can do this without MIDI. Enjoyed the peace that listening to this brought, respecting the talent that created it 😎
