OK, demo posted now...took longer but I had to shovel the waterlogged snow off my back deck! I was initially aiming for punk, but it came out more Motown or maybe #powerpop. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Fun song with great lyrics, it is hard to believe it was written in a skirmish! All the lyrics called out below I also found stellar.

"Thirsty while drinking from a fire-hose" is a brilliant line -- love the energy and that chorus is so hooky! Well done.

Love the repetition of turn off the noise. For me it’s reminiscent of the Talking Heads or B-52s. I like the the little pitch shifting flourishes as well. They caught me off guard :)

ha, this is great- lots of lines that really deliver the message well- and the music works well with the lyric. 'stay tuned we want your eyeballs'! love that synthy solo, too, and that emperor's new clothes line is perfect

This is a really strong set of words, particularly so for a skirmish. "I'll take silence over agitation" is great! Nicely skirmished!

Some keen lyrics here, about finding eggs and thirsty while drinking from a firehose. But I especially like the one about the Emperor's new clothes! The shouted line at the end is ironic, no? I hope this gets some music.

These lyrics are brilliant and very impressive skirmish or not! "There’s constant confusion, wolves eating sheep" and "Thirsty while drinking from a fire-house" are particular stand outs, well done!
