Liner Notes

Something a bit epic and anthemic for these great words from @treerose. I like the way the whole song build to the last line. Singing a bit ropey in places but. have a few projects on the go concurrently.

Key change in the middle which seemed to work pretty well.

Seems to be a bleak little story about loss, at least that is what I got from it. @treerose can maybe tell us more.

@b3nut The radio royalties would be nice. I have long passed the stage of trying to make money or a living from music, I do it for my own pleasure now and hopefully for the pleasure of others. I am much happier off that treadmill.

This wouldn't be out of place on 90's radio...it's got that big rock anthem sound and feel that suits the longing expressed so well by that lyric. Really beautiful bit of work right here...nicely done!

the first verse is so true. tears do begin in the throat, sometimes they stay there. the music is anthemic. bi, big arena rock, i can see the matches being lit, the arms waving back and forth ad 30,000 fans relate to the singer's loss. another thing that rings true is how the deat of a loved one removes us from the physical world and takes us to the gates of eternity. i believe it, because i am there myself.
