the memories this evokes are walking along the seattle waterfront before it was transformed into a disneyworld-like theme park. those days are forever lost as the once habitable city has become a tourist trap on the road from san francisco to vancouver b.c. the loveliness of tim's music brings the old seattle back to me, if only in my heart. i see no reason why a nocturne cannot be paced to the measures of walking feet.
