Our first #randomcollaboration didn't work out like either of us wanted, so in my wrap-up email I said "next time" to which @sjbatavia indicated he would be down for another. He started it off with a gentle guitar and percussion track, and the ghost themed lyrics just poured out. Steve then layered on that ethereal electric mandolin, and really kicked this up.

Ironically, this track is thematically and conceptually the same as the previous track involving. moving on after some undisclosed loss. There is a humorous meta-commentary in that.

Genre: #rock #indie #indiefolk #folkrock ?

Dark cowboy goth western? Haha I don't know what this is but for now I will just call it awesome. Those dark leads really pull you in.

Is that spooky sound the electric mando? It lends a very haunted feel to the song, which suits the lyrics perfectly!

The last line in the chorus is killer and this “ The chill I can not shake, like something won’t stay in its grave.”

I didn’t read the liner notes at first and was wondering about the ghostly line above. That is such a cool complement to the ghost theme of the lyrics. This was really neat, enjoyed listening 💚

I liked the vocal and lyrics. The ethereal electric mandolin was a bit too much really. I think it would work better if brought lower in volume in the mix. But overall, a good job.
