Liner Notes

Composed under an hour but spent ages trying to find the image. Again, late over here, will listen and read tomorrow :)
Thank you for your listening and commenting. Please let me know if you would like to collaborate with me.

One of my favourite movies is "Little Princess". Here is my idea of waltz of Little Princess. Thank you for listening.

Very charming. I can almost see her dancing. Love how all comes together.

Love the "off-kilter music box" tonality of the first statement of the melody, and how the strings bring it all into accord when they come in. Super evocative and lovely. Well done!

Very cinematic! My little princess is seven, and she will love this. Great instrumentation, and, yes, finding the right image for the soundtrack can often take longer than writing the song. Although, perhaps there are visual artists out there struggling in the opposite direction. An extended version of this would be a great lullabye.

It's Monday morning, so I HAVE to listen to some Nadia--who has learned my little secret that there is NO SUCH THING as a waltz that isn't beautiful. It's almost cheating... 😉 Great job and looking forward to hearing more! ❤️

Oh, the sounds that come in at :58 are just perfect. Beautiful composition.

Classic harmonic progression with some interesting turns. Beautiful work.

I always post singles to Bandcamp. That means I need to find pictures that match with the song. I feel your pain, looking for the perfect illustration. Like you, I've spent too much time searching and searching.

So much for the mechanics of posting. Let's talk music!

Although I don't use it that often, I always like music in 3/4 and 6/8. In this lovely piece, I can picture the dancer making the stage her own. As always, good music can be found coming from you, Nadia.

This reminds me of music for a children’s cartoon the part when the child has to go to bed and then experiences exciting adventures in their dreams

Love your sound palette, and the way it ebbs and flows, really paints a picture. The image is perfect. Great composition.

Ooooh, this is delightful! I love the instrumentation you used. My partner poked his head into the room as I was listening and said, "It sounds so pretty!" Great song inspired by a fantastic movie! I could listen to this for hours and fall asleep.
