Liner Notes

I don't know why I wait until February to get all my stuff set up. Just making more problems for myself. The random buzzing will have to be dealt with at a later date. Not sure how I feel about this one; bit ragged around the edges. #indie #punk #altrock

Lyrics

I'll melt the world
And I'll start with you
Matches
A lighter
Kerosene too
You don't know
What I won't do
I'll melt the world

Blow out the candles
On your birthday cake
Surprise! They reignite!
The candles are fake!
See what I mean?
You act like you don't believe
But you don't know how
The grill stays so clean
So

I'll melt the world
And I'll start with you
Matches
A lighter
Kerosene too
You don't know
What I won't do
So I'll melt the world
And I'll start with you

That oughta show you

Oh this is so great, I don't know where to start. The way it grinds and lurches along... had me almost headbanging. And such fun lyrics!

ok this fucking rules. this kicks so much ass. this reminds of me stuff like shellac or idles or something.
i’m listening to this while having my morning coffee, and i know i will not write anything this cool today. i would listen to an album of songs that sounded like this. this is killer

Someone mentioned Primus vibes and I think that's right in regards to the dissonant guitar harmonies (possibly tritone intervals). This definitely got spun out of your freakout wheelhouse. "Freakout" might be a genre you invented...

My favorite line is: "Surprise! They reignite! The candles are fake! FAKE!"

Cool! Something about the timing of the guitar licks and the sound of the bass remind me of old school Faith No More. Lots of ear candy as it goes on. Fun listen, great work!

Okay two things: 1) the TITLE. Amazing. 2) this song starts off sounding like you're playing the drums with one hand and the guitar with the other. Great vibe, great guitar riffs, has a kind of Primus vibe to it, great stuff all around. This is like one of those great intro songs at the start of the album that transitions into the catchiest punk-pop song you've ever heard in your life.

that guitar playing is some steve albini shiz... short and sweet

Ohmigoodness. This is riff-rock hall of fame material. The way that hook phrase seeps into your bones. I just wanted it repeat and repeat while my head banged along, asshole-to-elbow in a sweaty capacity crowd, a sea of humanity with fists in the air screaming your name.

And that's to say nothing of the simple joy of the title's word play. All the gold stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

YESSSSSS!!!!
Gosh dang it all to heck, bro! This hits SO HARD.
Not just lyrically (the title is SUCH a great hook). But this thing grooves even though it has so many stop starts.

Vocally so killer!! I really want to know some about your mixing and arranging process. This hits SO good.

Dude.

Incredible title, and these 97 seconds of riffage more than deliver on its promise. Love that metallic guitar tone when the huge one drops out.

Rocking. The title drew me hear and didn't expect that. Cool tune and 90's vibe.

What a twisted and maniacal thing to do. Now I will forever sing the wrong words to that old 80s song. :P This is a pure in your face rocker!

Amazing guitar tone. The riffs are immense. I’m definitely going to be shouting ‘I’ll melt the world’ all day now. Bit of an earworm. Great production and mix too. What a tune!!!

To me the chef's kiss came in the 2nd chorus with the 2nd background guitar part - love that you featured it after the 2nd chorus.

I saw the title and immediately loved it. I was not disappointed. Love the riff and how in-your-face this is. Hell yeah.

That riffage is humungous! And your delivery is pure PUNK!

I thought this was going to be a take on that Modern English song. That opening verse caught me off guard and made me laugh. This kicks ass and takes no prisoners for sure, maybe because you set them on fire. The ending is so perfect
