Now I’m not sure if this will be a continuing theme but our 2nd song has second in the title 😂? The first one had 1st in its name……
Anyway, this tune came together really quickly with Liam bashing out the initial idea on the afternoon of 2nd February, and I added the lead part in one take in the evening. Matt then laid down the drums, Liam redid the vocals and rhythm guitar, and I added the high backing vocals.
It’s a just a rough mix at the moment but we’ll probably polish it up a bit after FAWM.
Onto the next tune now…….

As a kid of the 90s, this absolutely hit the spot. Great vocals throughout - love that angst. The bits where the background vocal response was paired with the guitar was brilliant. Sweet solo, and an overall fantastic performance. Great tune!

Yeah great vibes! Really nice vocal delivery. The chorus -has a semi sloppy (in a great way) openness. It is very organic. I love the flow, it feels like a live performance! Nice stuff!

I think you should make it a theme. Helps keeps track. Nice bit of bite to this, like barely repressed anger. Everything sounds great, particularly the lead/slide guitar. Really nicely done.

Oh wow this is a great tune reminding me of the good old 90s. The title is great, especially the double meaning of second (time vs person)

Nice layed back in the pocket tune. The lyrics roll very naturally and the moody lead guitar weaves in and out nicely. Great job!
