this is a fun one i think. I like it anyway.
I've been trying to be more positive recently, as much as possible. Grateful for what I have and where I'm at in life. so this is just some positive affirmation i guess.

Loved the lyrics / vocals. The guitar melody is choice. The drums, though... Such a well-written drum part! This song has heart, in both the lyrical theme AND the drums.

Yes!! Okay, the way the track builds around the first "I'm being myself for the hell of it" just brings me so much joy. The guitar playing cheered me up this morning. "I'm being myself for the hell of it" is such a great lyric, too. So, so nicely done.

Great lyrics here. Somehow remind me of the late 90's british pop and rock lyrics. Just something about how you write here is very evocative. With refining of the sounds used here this could sound like a massive stadium rock anthem!

I don't know what it is about your guitar playing, but when I hear it I feel it's you. If that makes sense. You have a style, maybe a sound? I don't know if I'd recognize it on the radio or anything but there's something I love about it. There's a rhythm here that is great. I can't sit still while listening. The chorus melody is catchy. That rise in melody on 'look like' and the phrasing it creates before the end of the line is delicious. I love how it pairs with the final line of the chorus. Good one.
