Liner Notes

Warning: musical theatre genre. Run away without looking back if you don't like it haha. I was given a permission to create a soppy love song, so here goes... Thank you so much to everyone who is still here and who is listening. Thank you for commenting.

Hi Nadia! Patty and I would love to collab with you on this one if you're willing to send me the Wav? :)

Hey! What's wrong with soppy love songs? 😀 That's one of my favorite genres!

This is beautiful, Nadia. It has a lovely feel to it and I enjoyed all the builds and that chorus opens up with such emotion hitting several peaks. Just lovely!

Once again Nadia you amaze me with your ability to conjure something so effective and complete sounding in such a short space of time. This reminds me in the best way of Burt Bacharach whilst being totally yours. Beautiful 😍

You have a definite mastery of chord progressions and how to convey the feeling with the changes of structure and key.

This definitely has a sunny, pleasant tone. Very sweet. I love how it lifts and changes around 40 seconds in -- those big chords with the melody singing over the top? Very nice!

This is really in the pocket of the musical theatre genre that you "warned" us about. No warning was needed. This has a lovely melody and real shape and momentum.
A terrific skirmish (and beyond)!

I love this. Actually reminds me a bit of parts of rachmaninovs piano concert nr.2. Not a whole lot, but it gave me those associations

@eric
Great piece, lovely piano playing. Lots of familiar melodies and themes that make this song feel timeless... ooh, I just got to the change at 2:01. So expressive and dynamic. I can definitely imagine lyrics on top of this, following your melody line. Great skirmish!

Wow-I can't believe that you wrote this in an hour. The music is really, really lovely. I hope that someone (you maybe?) sets this to lyrics. I think this would make a fantastic song in any genre!
