Echoes of my Loss

Skirmish: Echo (@hmstreetteam)

Liner Notes

Thank you for the inspiring theme. I'm sure there will be some wonderfully happy songs about echo of happiness, upbeat and catchy. Here is my nostalgic take on the theme. Having lost many dear to me people, I felt like speaking about this in my piano piece. Please see where my music takes you. You might find it not sad but rather relaxing or uplifting. For me though, it is crying about the ones who joined the stars on the sky. Please share with me your thoughts and ideas. My music is open to collaborations. I think it could be an accompaniment to vocals with lyrics/spoken word or you might have other ideas. I'm always happy to hear them.

Beautiful thoughts emanating from your piano. I hear a yearning, a longing.

Nadia, seems like you're in a different place this year. I still remember your songs being full of grieve and melancholy. This is so much brighter

Wow I love listening to your music! We recently had a LOT of snow here and I've been out walking in the blowing snow and through the unshoveled sidewalks a lot in the last 48 hours and I've been listening to a lot of paino music. This might have been partially influenced by the last time I was listening to you, but, who really knows. All I know, is I love hearing your recordings. Its a March to do list to get on your bandcamp and wherever else you are 😀

Nostalgic, tender, and wonderful Nadia!

This feels like a shadowy room with light only from the windows and reaching upward to try to find more light — a feeling of hope and perseverance. Very nice!

I didn't participate in this skirmish, but wanted to listen to your song. This is quite beautiful. I'm sorry you've lost people who are close to you. I don't think this song needs a thing. It's meditative and lovely to listen to. Great piano playing.
