@sapient had posted a melodic challenge that intrigued and inspired me. It is here... https://write.fawm.org/forums/3224 I decided to use my wife's phone number as note intervals for the melody and complete the song for Valentine's day as a gift. I then decided to ask my oldest son if he would like to join me on this new idea, which he agreed. We worked on it for the last 4 days or so and we really love it! So, here is our gift to our favorite and most important woman.

This was all done playing a midi keyboard and the instruments from the BBC Symphony VSTi. The melody was created using a phone number for the intervals and used in about 5 ways for different uses, so I played the phone number to get me started and went from there. Flute, Cello, Tuba, Trombone, Piccolo, Clarinet, Trumpet, Tympani, Tubular Bells, Bass Drum, Cymbals, and a phone number.

I love hearing classical music on FAWM and this was an absolute treat. An ambitious composition, in length and arrangement, I love the immitative duo at the opening and the grandeur it builds to. There's so much colour and story here, you should be really proud. I loved this.

Really enjoyed listening to the track. What a cool challenge and interpretation. Thanks for sharing the sweet story of how it was made.

Ooh, the tubular bells just came in. Lovely. So it uses the phone number and then just alters the rhythm of the different digits on different instruments to create a symphony? My brain does not think like this and I am envious of those that do.

I saw the challenge and even came up with a melody but could no further. Yet here I'm listening to such a great creative, and great sounding implementation. I think this is a lovely arrangement and melody.

How lovely how all the family are getting in on Fawm. This is lovely and a great nod to the lady of the house.

This is really awesome. It has something majestic to it like people discovering a new land and then moving into a castle. This could really be great film music.
