Liner Notes

#meta #skirmish #protest #guywithacomputer #country Well, this will be controversial for a number of reasons. First, it's recycling a song I posted in a skirmish earlier today: https://write.fawm.org/songs/310880 Second, the music was created by Suno #AI. Third, it's #political, and probably will buy me a tax audit if not a trip to the blue gulag. But, I'm posting it anyway to demonstrate what AI does to lyrics. No doubt the AI version is more polished. But, let me know what you think! Which do you prefer?

Lyrics

STOP IT (I didn't vote for Elon)
c. 2025 raspberry33

VERSE 1:
It’s another day of watching the clown car spin its wheels
And then reverse direction let me tell you how that feels
I’m dizzy and unsettled Can I ask who feels the same?
Can we share the same umbrella And avoid the acid rain….

CHORUS:
Stop it, stop it, we’ve had enough
Life doesn’t need to be this tough
The system’s a car that’s hard to shift
But that’s no reason to drive it off a cliff

VERSE 2:
So they’ve launched another witch hunt built a fire around the stake
And your choice is to stay silent or live with a mistake
In believing that the system will protect you and your friends
Now it’s time to make it clear We will not let freedom end
>CHORUS

BRIDGE:
Who’s telling you everything will be OK?
Do you make your own decisions, or are you told?
Are we the team the pundits say will finish last
There’s a time to shout, a time to be bold…

VERSE 3:
I didn’t vote for Elon and neither did you
Already, there’s been damage that will be hard to undo
So enough with wishful thinking and doubling down on wrong
Will join me in the chorus We all must sing this song
>CHORUS

Subversive country robot!

I prefer your own melody (and voice) to this AI generated one, for sure. The vocal inflection you bring to it expresses your ideas better than this slick phoney country/pop version. It's really interesting to see the difference!

Love the metaphors in this and message

This is a great protest anthem.

Wow, this is powerful, and really well done. Really love the writing, and whatever you did with the production the end result is strong. Love the vocals.
Great job.

Hearing these words in the style of voice that is usually singing about the kind of freedom that oppresses so many is such a mind $#%&. Really great writing here!
