Asked @lamerabbit if there were any lyrics that struck a chord to feel free to collab! He brought it on Heavy!!! I seldom write with heavy metal/punk on my mind... I do now! Thanks @lamerabbit

Lyrics

V I
I’ll take the sunshine on my face
Moonshine in my glass
Race you to the river
Drop our clothes to the grass

The water’s shiny sparkles
Jumping diamonds when we dive
Even out uneven tans
Make me feel alive

C
Shine on, Shine on, Shine on my soul
Rainbows of clouds, rolling, roll, roll

V II
Feel the moonshine in my head
The sunshine round my heart
Taken all my loneliness
Tore it all apart

With the moonshine from your eyes
Those torn pieces from your touch
Sewn a quilt of happiness
And wrapped me up in love

C
Shine on, Shine on, Shine on my soul
Rainbows of clouds, rolling, roll, roll

Bridge
You’re my shiniest shine
I’ve ever seen
Gleamiest Gleam,
That’s ever been
Letting me fall into the light of your life
Melting mad shadows apart
Opened my eyes with the lovliest light
Saved my soul with the light of your heart

Outro
Oh shine on, shine on, shine on my soul
Rainbows of clouds, rolling, roll, roll
Rainbows of clouds, rolling, roll, roll

Seems like you have a lot of fun with the heavier genres this year. This riff is infectious.big big fun!

Yeah a very open lyric, great delivery, really rocking it! As good a heavy stuff as I have heard! Really nice collab guys, I really enjoyed this one.

In its write could almost see this, @kc_ , as a love song the clouds were singing to the sun (and vice versa as per Br & Ch reveals) as they sky raced to a river for it to reflect them; in song, @lamerabbit , I was totally thrown by the vocal fades, dips, and split-second halting-restarting inflection wave. Interesting collab.

Your voice reminds me of the lead singer of Mudhoney. Nice heavy feel throughout and I enjoyed the solo. The riffs keep coming and are top drawer. Maybe this is your thing now?
