It seems this is the year to wax political. There's so much to complain about and that yields lots of topics. On this song, I didn't attempt to create lovely and predictable rhymes. Instead, I let the topic lead the way. That may offend those who love red hats. You've been warned.

Crazy world indeed, Paul! I didn't know if I was just me paying more attention to political songs but there seem to be WAY more this year. This is an excellent one. I like the pace and delivery which soften the blow a bit. Along the way you hit some of the many, many distressing policies that are playing out (religion supports the godly is a choice one). Well played and sung, as usual. It still amazes me that there seem to be a very disproportionate amount of opinions being expressed along the lines of your song yet look who's in the drivers seat. Anyway, excellent work my friend! You make the WWS community proud.

I'm with ya 100% Paul. The light-hearted musical vibe sort of softens the criticism, at least to my ear. I've been avoiding politics in my writing for fearing of angering some folks - maybe I shouldn't care?!?

It IS a Crazy World! And as political a person as I am, I haven't been writing much protest stuff this season--not consciously, I'm just noticing that now... So, thanks for taking up the baton and putting this one out! ❤️

Hey Paul, this is a really awesome protest song! You covered so much of the insanity we face currently in your lyrics. The melody is intriguing and fresh! Excellent performance with strong vocals to deliver the message powerfully! An all-around terrific song!!! Love it!
