Liner Notes

Welp, after ten years of FAWMing, this is my first time taking part in a Skirmish! The prompt, or more like the description, drew some DSBM out of me. I had everything done under an hour, but rendering and such took time!

Lyrics

I dread this day
When the ghosts come
They claw their way
Into my dreams

All is ruined
Still a few more days

I could be free
But they never come

The horrors
They wait
To take my hand

man, your bass tones are absolutely sick. the second guitar riff makes me feel all kinds of nauseous = good one. can't believe you cut this in one hour!!

A beautifully dark and ominous setting, perfect for the sharp lyrics and devastating vocals. Love the flips to double-time and ending angst!

Wow dope black metal! Impressive that you nailed it in just one hour! Love the depressive atmosphere! Your vocals are perfect!

Love that wall of crunchy buzzy guitar and driving percussion!!!! Heavy and hard hitting in the best way!

This sounds killer. Brutal stuff! Very well done for an hour!

Well that's heavy as hell. I really like the simplicity and directness of the lyrics, and the music brings the energy to match it. Good stuff, impressive to put it together so quickly. I like the contrast of the two main sections.

Love this! This is amazing stuff for a skirmish. Please do more!

Awesome.
Bleak, black blasts.
Damn. This is bloody good work for a skirmish.

A heroic effort for a one hour song - over three minutes, what! The blastbeat kind of came out of the dsbm mood with its ferocity, but it was also my favorite part!

Keep doing the skirmishes. This is wild and so interesting!

Congrats on your first skirmish! It's fabulous, in a horror-soundtrack kind of a way!

Wow! That was something completely different than what I’m used to. Thanks for an interesting experience!
