Another Feburary is finally here and I'm itching to get started on writing songs again. Set up in the kitchen again with mic and guitar and ready to see what comes out this year. Good luck and much fun to all those taking part this year. Also, very happy to announce a new album of Space related songs with the legendary Sapient! More pleasant trips coming here soon.

@johns
Gordon, you can use my lyrics any time you like - you do wonderful work with them.

Thank you for your comments on "The Well is Dry". Yes, I will be back next year! This has been a great experience. I'm now enjoying going out and listening to other people's work.

You are prodictive! 'Making a sweater fror your bicycle frame works pretty good as a metaphor for for finding a place to protect your dreams. Great lyrics. Thanks

Thank you. I would it if you took on the lyrics for that song ,♥️

You further bringing the puppet master character to stirring, gritty life in my "Beyond Tomorrow," Gordon, continues to cement its gritty riddle into the mind's of listeners. Quite fab! Nice grungy aspect laid bare in this rendition. Spins even more three-dimensional particulars into this character that I was hoping for in song for this concept album. Thanks for helping to keep that important throughline true by way of your grand ability to transform my words into living, breathing, ear-worming delicious music.

Cool, Gordon. Much appreciated. If you're able to work it in, feel free to do so.

@johns
Go ahead Gordon, I'm sure it will be great.

@johns
Sure, go ahead.

Re: "Wil Wheaton" - that is a brilliant pun, and if intended would have shown off my cleverness. However, it was just me being honest, sadly.. Hope you're well x

@inger
You are the most prolific writer I’ve seen here so far, wow!
[avatar]
kudos!

Thanks for the listen on No More - holy hell, 75 songs!!!! I gotta get busy. I enjoyed Alternative Realities - will listen to more.

Hadn't seen your "The Riddler'" ask in time, Gordon, but truth be known, I wouldn't've had any objection to you taking it on. And take it on you did! Thx so much, man! Glad that you did so. And you were right in your liner notes about earbuds. My head's still bangin' cool! Love so much of the sound in this one. The music mix is so timely and awesome with a retro feel and fresh and inviting for today's metalhead's and the ears if others. The cadence in your voice, too, again, captures so much of the song's character. Those twists in voice and hits in your delivery?Masterful! Dig, too, your lyric switch up and "act" put into it. Nice! Can't get enough of this song--thx for making it, lol, infectious! Not only surprised to hear from you again, I was stunned by what you produced here. Thx for mixin' it up so well, getting it out so quickly, and just all around knowing how to put music to lyrics--😉even though you say you don't know what you're doing. 🤘

Holy cow that’s a lot of tunes! Sheesh… incredible!
[avatar]
The fact that you believe you don't know what you're doing, or that what you create isn't any good, Gordon, puts you in the music company of many. I'm glad that you "weren't thinking," lol, as you created for "My One and Only,," because then you might've really second-guessed everything and not been able to complete such a great song here!
[avatar]
You. Knocked. It. Out. Of. The. Park, Gordon! Awesome, man! Love the ticking, tapping tempo you chose and went with for "My One and Only"! In combo with your music and vocals, the song really speaks and gets across the beckoning, dark, alone, and unknown-known factor that I was looking for the lyric to get across. Fab how you caught and nailed those aspects; interestingly cool how you managed to translate so well all into somber unavoidable reality for the lyric's character. Great cadence in this throughout--from voice upticks to level offs--everything truly rocks moody-dark solid! Remarkable job! From the song's tone, to its setting mood and revelation through your playing/singing mastery on this one, I love what you did! Thanks, man!
[avatar]
Thanks man! Sure. Have a go at "My One and Only." Thanks for checking it out and seeing something in it that caused you to ask. Look forward to your rendition.

Will try again
