@kristian: So.. yeah... total cheese-fest. First time working with Julie and I had no idea what to do but I do know she takes herself VERY seriously .. so I had to lighten her mood by sending her some ballad piano 😛 (Oh and @adforperu : can you PLEASE tell Julie that she doesn't have to actually SHOUT into the mic ... I mean, she got so into it the recording was mostly peaking all over the place 😂)

@judypie: Do I look like I know what I’m doing Kristian? What the f is peaking? ANYWAY, apart from that I really enjoyed finding the cheese ballad in this, it was a really fun exercise! Thank you for the track dude!

I do like the contrasting between the louder (peaking? xD) 2 lines and the softer 2 lines in the verse. The harmonies in the chorus are great. Retro goodness!

I've listened to this about 6 times now! Finally leaving a comment. I guess me listening 6 times says a lot. This is an absolute classic 80s ballad! Are you sure this wasn't already a number 1 hit? Maybe in a parallel universe? Expert work from the both of you on this, that's a top class melody from @judypie <3 @kristian, I'll go review the garageband project now.

Proper retro vibes from that fm synth piano and progression! The progression and melody is actually really lovely here. I can see this being played over the montage section of an 80s movie actually. Great vocal work Julie and nice to hear you popping up with some backing vocals too @kristian! Top collab work all round 😊

OMGs, that E-piano. This song is the sound of radio in my childhood. (Did I just reveal how old I am?) And that key change into the chorus! If this is cheese, idk, it's a very delicious one.

Yes, it's that kind of song. The sort that would fill stadiums and clog up radio play for weeks. It's VERY well done. Huge amounts of cheese. An truly epic performance from @judypie .
But I do have a question. The harmony vocals... It that you, @kristian? Singing, at last? The public demands to know!
