Liner Notes
I was going to submit the lyrics in German for this, but I'm not well versed (though I may still try because I need the challenge), so this will be in English for now. #skirmish #electronic #industrial
Lyrics
And what seemed over, begins
The darkness, once escaped, returns
Plaguing the mind, infiltrating dreams
Reaching for the light that burns
As the Soul silently screams
An obstacle conquered in a time before
Thinking struggle ends forevermore
Only proven wrong as cycles start anew
To sicken the flowers where peace once grew
And what seemed over, begins

This is really incredible - I love the intricacies of the music and the darkness in the direction you went with the lyric. The driving beat is a a wonderful juxtaposition with your flowing well phrased vocal delivery. I love how the intensity evolves.

Oh, how heartbreaking. Great ending - sicken the flowers wehre peace once grew. Great image!
And it seams the prompt took many of us in a similar direction and most of us in a rather somber feeling...
This could be a poem from lord of the rings also! Sad to think we live in a challenging time also.
Very curious as to how it will sound put to music! Awesome Skirmishing!

You wrote in nine lines what I tried and failed to express in several dozen.

I like the heavy feeling for the unwanted return of a cycle.
