Lyrics

In My Arms

Dm Em Dm
You feel like rose petals

Dm Em Dm
Nebulae collapsing

Dm Em Dm
And blooming to my touch

FAug Dm
You are in my arms again

Dm Em Dm
You taste like wine, rosé

Dm Em Dm
My white inside your red

Dm Em Dm
We spill out from both ends

FAug Dm
You are in my arms again

Am Dm
You are in my arms again

Am Em
You are in my arms again

Dm Em Dm
Time stops inside this kiss

Dm Em Dm
I’ve waited forever

Dm Em Dm
The clock won't take you away

FAug Dm
You are in my arms again

Am Dm
You are in my arms again

Am Em
You are in my arms again

Am
In my arms again

In my arms again

Dm
In my arms again

What joy it is to find

Dm Em Dm
What you thought lost so long

I cannot not let you go

Dm Em Dm
I will not let you go!

Dm Em Dm
Drink from me so I can live

Dm Em Dm
Drink from me so I can live

Am Dm
You are in my arms again

Am Em
You are in my arms again

The piano is excellent. And your vocals are powerful & sublime as always. The despiration & sadness in the lyrics is expressed so well. Very dramatic. Made me shiver when you hit those higher notes. So awesome!

Probably because I've seen Nosferatu three times now, I have a sneaking suspicion that this is related to that.
Awesome voice, as usual, and the pounding piano really adds a lot of atmosphere here.
Excellent work!

As always, enjoying your skillful metaphors as your voice carries me away. This track has a peaceful, consoling vibe, with refinement and elegance at the core.
It's gorgeous, and it suits you as much as your darker stuff.

Really like the dramatic feel of the story in this one and you sing it with force!

i like the way you write in a minor key. this song reminds me of songs from the russian theatre that are fundamentally based on two rotating minor chords (although your song breaks the bonds of such limitation)

Pretty unique stuff! "You are in my arms again" line feels like its a bit long for the part, but after a few repeats it's starts to feel like it fits like glove, albeit a proggy glove - but a glove none the less. I'm so happy about stumbling upon genres and genre mashups if wouldn't normally find.
