It is very, very late over here. I'll listen to the songs tomorrow :)

Thank you so much @dudachris for your brilliant prompt: Mine the Poets

I've chosen one of my favourite poems "A Dream Within a Dream" by Edgar Allen Poe. Here is my instrumental. Thank you for listening. YOu can read the poem on www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/52829/a-dream-within-a-dream

My music is open to collaborations. Please let me know if you are interested. Thank you for listening and for sharing your thoughts.

Sounds great Nadia - the keyboard sound you chose is very "dreamy" and fits the poem you selected to evoke. Some super-nice melodic work.

Very smooth! Dreamy definitely accomplished perfectly!

I love the slightly haunting, but relaxing electric piano. This is meditative and right up my alley. Your interpretation of Poe absolutely shines!

Incredible composition, Nadia. I think your inspiration for this one is clear, and you did such an excellent job bringing it to life. Very nice :)

Good choice of EP for this dreamy and sweetly enticing instrumental. I appreciate the sparse harmony and simple melody line. Sometimes I think our instrumentals are a dream within a dream, and perhaps recursive at that. One of the more intriguing things I've heard from you.

Love this inspiration, Poe is one of my favs and so is this poem. I think this captures the atmosphere and prosody of the write....Just lovely!

The melancholy instrumentation and melody absolutely HITS on Poe's entire oeuvre, but especially here. Great work!

It is late here too, and this is just the end of day listen that I need. I must re-read Poe's poem now, and of course re-listen here. Thank you this interesting dreamscape Nadia.

Sounds good. One take? Really suits the Poe poem. Sort of nostalgic and spooky. Thanks!

Dreamy for sure! I was expecting a Langston Hughes reflection based on the title but this is a truly wonderful surprise. The melancholy saturating this song makes sense when listened to next to the poem. Great work and thanks for the share 💛

I read the poem while listening, what a lovely immersive experience! The music is perfect- wistful and haunting, like the sweet echoes of sunny childhood viewed through the rain-spattered window of age.

Hi Nadia, Love the sounds! So cool. Dreamy. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing! Cheers, Smudge

I wondered if I'd see any Poe. Nice job with the prompt. I got to remember that I can just write an instrumental, (instead of what I did with the prompt, which isn't that great). Also one of my works of Poe.
