Thank you so much for your kind comment, Tammy... you are too kind... I've had so many things to do at work for the past few days that I've barely gotten to devote more time to FAWM. I'm hoping to have a little more time over the weekend and want to listen and read through some of what I've missed. In any case, I will stop by your place to enjoy your songs. Oh, Tammy. Thank you sooooo much for taking the time to listen to and read my few songs and for giving such well considered and valuable feedback. FAWM is a trip! I just wish I had spent more time listening and writing, but I'm going to appreciate that I did it at all.

I am in awe of you and Mike and your boundless creativity and energy. Wow. I'm honored and inspired to be your friend. Thanks for turning me on to this amazing experience. I will continue through March and get some music and rearranging done to the last two.

Actually, my eyes watered while reading your message. THANK YOU for sharing that with me!! Everyone in my life praised me for being so calm, but inside I was very scared. My tumor mostly affected my left eye, but as you know ENT/sinus cavity all are connected. My left ear is hypersensitive to everything, but I imagine with time it will get better. I really appreciate your candor--I hope you're well now too!! I hope you have a good medical team!

That is so cool about your son's passion for theatre! I am actually in a community theatre production right now with Open Door Theater, which is company that specifically includes people of all ages with special needs. If you are in NH perhaps you would want to bring him to the show! And, if by chance he's in college anywhere nearby he could audition for the next one! We are doing the SpongeBob Musical and it opens in about a month, in Acton MA: https://www.opendoortheater.org/welcome/current-show/

Thank you so much for listening and for your incredibly generous comments on Everybody Loves Perfect People and Post-Cruise Depression!!! I am so excited to hear that you can see the former as part of a show!! I am planning to write a musical during April for another crazy challenge similar to FAWM, and while I haven't got it all outlined yet it will likely be centered around this character and these types of ideas. I will definitely let you know when you can see it on stage and ticket prices!! 😂

Thanks for commenting on “Somebody Is Leaving”. I totally understand the freezing up concern. I tend to use LyriCloud prompts by myself as a writing prompt and I try to keep to a time limit. Under those conditions there’s no pressure of presenting the results. But it also means the censor has to get its butt out of the way and just try stuff! Over time I’ve built up a pretty good faith in my subconscious mind to surprise me. It’s a really good exercise in my opinion. I’d love to do one with you sometime, with no promise that either of us has to post anything. Having a partner just creates some accountability and a very mild pressure. Just for the fun of it. ☺️

Hi Tammy! We've been doing song swaps online, but doing the songwriting theme stuff turned out to be harder than expected -- nobody was offering up song prompts! If we're doing it in person, we can stand over the audience members and guilt them into writing something down. :) We're still looking for a venue either down in MA or up here in our corner of NH that would be willing to host the songwriter showcase going forward, as our hosts in Maynard have moved to western VT and aren't running a cafe anymore.
