My first FAWM song with a real live cello! I sat down today and had myself a little 14-song feast, starting with this leftover from Bad Song Club. It was very fun.

Infectious write that initially hooks, digs in its claws, and never lets up with its entertaining wit, @carleybaer , forcing a read! Gnarly stuff here. Haven't ever encountered a tiger write during FAWM till now, and my oh my, how this one's quite the cat's meow!

Great song. The Ohhh send me every time. The whole poppy approach to the chorus is executed perfectly.

My favorite line is probably:
I’m a benevolent ruler, I live for the applause
But if you try to start trouble, you’re gonna catch my claws

Really like the production on this, the bass in the background and the pop treatment, it's almost too tight. Chillin is an interesting idea for a tiger. The cause blends from wanting to know what it might be like to be a tiger to what a tiger might be as a human.

Gorgeous song. Nice pop feel which I love and find hard to do. I think it's in the nice rhythm and hooky chorus...decending oh.oh.oh's.

This is charming. Quite a long way from Blake's "Tyger", though. 😉

Ukulele and cello: two of my favorite instruments. Nice combination, and I like the frivolity of the lyrics.

damn that’s damn catchy! Was this a bad song prompt? The word tigerlike rolls off the toungue…at least it rolls off your toungue!!!!! Looks like you’re having a productive first day.

Nice! Happy like a tiger! I can’t see everyone in the jungle running from that! Seems like the word “tigerlike” can’t be said without a smile. The outro is a great touch too!

When I saw cello, I was not expecting this at all. What a fun surprise!!! I like that you wondered what it was like to be a tiger and the next thing, you are the queen!
