A Trip to Ireland

Liner Notes

I went to Ireland with my family many years ago. It was so long ago that I can only imagine how it would have been there. I think it was in 2005, 20 years ago. I also think that I was influenced by composing music to a movie challenge, there is some kind of soundtrack quality here, but if you feel there is a potential to a song or a spoken word, please let me know. I enjoy collaborating.

I'm picturing an aerial sequence, flying over the Irish countryside and this is the music that's playing. Seems like an appropriate combination to me.

I've been to Ireland twice, once to Shannon and once to Dublin. Unfortunately, I can't really count those occasions as visits since I was only refueling enroute or changing planes to go somewhere else.

Oh, vey cinematic!! I like this a lot!

I was picturing Dublin while listening to this and it fits! I visited over 30 years ago, but it made me think of those images fondly. Very pleasant and uplifting!

Sounds like an epic journey. Am I the only one who instantly thinks of Legend of Zelda?

This feels very epic, and I definitely hear the Irish-ness of it. I can imagine a lilting voice hiding in there somwhere. Nice work!

I agree it has a cinematic feel to it. It also feels quite uplifting and powerful. I can almost see some knights standing with the castle. It's a captivating piece!

Definitely has a cinematic vibe to it, like the opening of a fantasy adventure
