Didn't even get to start FAWMing until last night. Worked for hours on a ridiculous song about a chupacabra until around midnight when I decided I'd been away too long to make music anymore.

Woke up this morning bright and early, sat in front of the keys and within a couple of minutes of messing hit record and got this. I rather like it in all its simplicity.

Hoping getting something on the board might unblock some sort of long hidden creativity. We'll see. I've got the next week at home to myself so my usual excuses don't apply.

Welcome to the party. Charming stuff here, and nice idea to write an instrumental to kick things off, I’ve done that the past few FAWMs which has worked well for me. I too was wondering if it’s NF’s Unacorda!?

There’s something a bit Satie-esque about this little waltz. The movement to that 2nd slightly dissonant chord and the delicate melody on top is delightful. Is that the Unacorda ? I could imagine this on a Nils Frahm album. Very cinematic in an understated way.

That's great to be able to sit down and create again. I know it is an old piece of advice but one that works for me-- to just create regularly, even if it if you don't feel inspired. I do like the simplicity of the piano line, and would love to see some more layers added to build it up into something bigger. Do you play other instruments as well? Tinker with lyrics at all? Keep going!!
