Yeah, it's another song about the state of our world today. I wanted my FAWM to be an escape from all that, but it isn't working, so I guess I should write the songs my muse sends me instead of no songs. Maybe a couple more of these will help me to get into a better space for writing more hopeful stuff.

If I'd used the skirmish prompt as a title prompt, it would have been something like My Days With The Opposition.

We organized so many meetings, marches, and daily calls

With knowledge that this year
Was a turning point, a challenge met

And see their crimes exposed and their efforts failed
And that one day I can set aside today’s anger and tears
Because their autocratic ambitions got them jailed
