A Song I am just finishing up for my wife of 35 years! Here's to many more adventures together! #love #singersongwriter #romantic

Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Runnin’ wild through fields of bloom
Under skies so big and blue
Mountains stand like sentry guards
Love fresh as the morning dew

[Chorus]
Pam you're my wildflower girl
Love so free in a spinning world
Moonlight shines in your eyes
Under starlit canvas skies

[Verse 2]
Butterflies dance on the breeze
We're like nomads in the trees
Meadows sing their fragrant song
Together’s where we both belong

[Chorus]

[Bridge]
Wildflower Girl Wildflower Girl
You’re My Wildflower Wildflower girl
You’re My Wildflower Wildflower girl

[Chorus] x2

This is an absolutely stunning love letter to your wife. I really love your voice, it’s so country cool.

Brilliant little swell at the start, very classy. To echo others, awesome transition from bucolic folkiness to those big ol' rock chords. Cool breakdowns, you've got some really interesting sounds out on the edges of the mix. Great write and record, really enjoyed the listen!

I like the shift between the folky verses to the rockin' out chorus. Favorite line: "Meadows sing their fragrant song"

Gorgeous love song. A Valentine's isn't far away. Very beautiful, uplifting and radio ready. I can imagine your song in a movie about a couple who is loving each other and getting ready for their wedding anniversary going somewhere on a cruise to celebrate with dancing, singing and sightseeing.

Absolutely fantastic track! I -really-- hope she digs it. All the little accents in this song give it so much life.

Really cool use of instrument changes, from acoustic guitars to electrics and then both together. The song has different “scenes” happening one after another. Fantastic!

Sweet sugar! 35years and this is what you write. You guys have something special! Love the wild and free feel in the lyrics and music. I love it!

Wow a really solid song! I'm very impressed with your production. I noticed the different use of reverb to create different spaces within the song. Nice punchy rhythms and guitars.
I like your lyrics as well, direct and effective. The intro was interesting in the way the rhythm comes in after the vocal. It gives a sort of floating quality like a memory.

Love the opening birdsong - it takes me right to the meadow where you're singing this delightful song for your wife. Sweet lyrics and super-catchy rock vibe!

this is profoundly charming. ^_^

The acoustic work in verse 2 is really effective and the whole breakdown is really cool - a stadium clap-along moment! Nice work!

What a lovely tribute to your wife! I bet she’s very pleased. :) A long happy marriage is one of life’s best blessings. 😀

this is a very sweet little love ballad

This is a nice, upbeat song! I had a friend, Pam, but she's moved on. I wrote a song lyric about her, but it was too complimentary, so I changed the title to Fran. The bridge works well.

I don't know Pam, but I can imagine her twirling in a field of daisies to this rocker. This should pave the way for year number 36. (The first 50 years are the hardest so keep going!)

Nice bounce to the music and playfully evocative lyric! Good stuff.
