Patty says:
When I wrote these lyrics, I imagined an achingly beautiful female vocal, filled with the pain of a heartbreak. I think Amanda (@housewystan) totally nailed it, musically and vocally. It was a wonderful experience collabing with her. I couldn't be more pleased with her rendition.

Amanda says:
I was so excited when Patty sent me the email. I always love collaborating with her because her lyrics are cohesive, poetic and well put together. It makes sitting down with it enjoyable and easy.

Its great when you can find a collaborator who can bring your vision to life! Absolutely, beautiful and sultry singing from Amanda which really brings these spectacular lyrics to life. The content is a great idea, that painful feeling of meeting indifference in someone you've loved is so poignant and such great execution. I love the pushing and pulling of tempo and those high harmonies really bring dynamism.

Damn, girls. . . I totally get why Amanda was the "chosen one." She reminds me that life isn't fair when it comes to vocal equality haha. Just love when you double up and add those harmonies. The buildup of all things make this such a power song. Lyrics in A2 and A3 are devastatingly great.

Oh, Amanda - that emotion in your voice is just so gently heavy. And the harmonies add just the right weight...It's like a beautifully truthful reworking of "I Can't Make You Love Me"

Some PJ Harvey vibes in this. Very emotional performance, sounds heartwrenching. The lyrics are really strong I like the way the winds of indiffirence motif is developed and the rhyming is very nice.

GORGEOUS. The title brought me here. It illustrates compellingly that indifference (rather than hate) is actually the opposite of love. I love "You never cared and I saw it too late" and also "Crushed by your coolness." The melody/vocals emote the narrator's anguish well.

Wow! This is so good! I sure hope you take this production to the nth degree as this can be a really powerful song! @housewystan vocals are perfect for this! Her music and melody heartfelt(you made it believable even though it isn’t your ACTUAL situation)! Sign of the a true artist! @greengrassgirl are incredible once again! Absolutely nailed it! Beautiful harmonies Amanda, and no guilt should be felt as you're singing as the protagonist in the lyric, but I understand as some people assume that whatever you're singing about must be autobiographical which is clearly not the case here.
