Well this is a bit different for me. Liked the prompts from the skirmish, decided to break out the Uke which I haven't played in over 3 years (plus) and to be honest, don't really know how to play. But it's FAWM, so I had a go

Lyrics

The sign on the door says, “Don’t look back,”
The past keeps calling, like a heart attack.
Every step I take, I hear it again once more
Messing with my mind, the sign on the door.
Says, “Leave your sorrow, let your spirit soar,”
Words of wisdom are hard to ignore.
Still, I’ll turn the key, and walk through the door
The sign on the door says I am not alone.
I’m not alone

The sign on the door says ladies only
I wonder why I feel so lonely
Sign on the door says no admittance
I turn upon my heel and say good riddance

Clever approach to this prompt and great results. Well done!!

The verse lyric is so very good! And I like the groove you set your words to as well.

Signs, signs, everywhere signs - blocking out the scenery and breakin' my mind. Glad that you broke out the uke (which the software keeps auto-correcting to "use:). I have mixed feelings about motivational signs, but I'll walk thru that door.

You're so speedy! This is such a cute song...I love the responses to each of the signs, especially the ladies' room!

Nice, easy feeling in the song, and the lyric make a nice contrast to it.

That was quick! Nice way to use the prompt by exploring various signs on doors. Particularly "ladies only... feel so lonely" was a nice twist.

The uke works really well for this one! It's a nice contrast with the kind of melancholy lyrics.

This fits the ignored instrument challenge from the foums. You should break out the Uke more often because this is really nice work. I enjoyed it.
