Liner Notes

I've made no progress on this since Wednesday, so I'm simply uploading it as as. Yes, I am aware that the Tenet synth is swinging in and out of pitch. It's FAWM. Of course it is.

Anyway this is me messing around with FL Studio's built in voice synthesizer which it has had since version voetsek, and has not developed since it was introduced. It has quite a unique sound as a result.

Most of the swooshes are my bare foot dragging along floor tiles. Most of the stabs are a squeaky metal sign on my neighbour's property.

Thank you for stopping by.

ONWARDS!

I got backups of your daddy's phone

Filthy
Ugly
Callous
Killjoy

Day

You are, you are

Oh, my, this is dirty. That vocal is delicious. That bass sound has some deep grit. I love the rhythm. Dang, this is so good.

I really enjoyed listening to this. (so much I listened twice!) It is somewhat mesmerizing. I like thinking outside the box with the "found sounds" (your bare foot on the tile and the neighbor's sign). Truly creative and well produced.

Yay, this song has a point! I like that it fits perfectly to the production, it has enough words but not too much and they are the right ones. Interesting!

Ah, this is lovely. Big and warm and grubby. That slightly wobbly single-note synth line is the bee's knees. Don't suppose you could send over the photos Mum took last Christmas? She accidentally deleted them.

Love the density of the FUCKED part. I admire the tenacity it takes to take a sample and make a sound with it. I don't have that patience. I also love the hilarity of the lyrics, very Anonymous.

I really enjoyed the sound and feel of this! It's both electro-funky and apocalyptic; a nightmare vision you can dance to. It captures the horror of the modern computer age, in a way that's fun for the whole family!

Wait, this isn't your real singing voice!?! I really like this one. It's like a modernised Kraftwerk! Using an acrostic to sidestep the NSFW tag? Next level, dude...

This is great. I feel like have become a hacker in the early 2000s just listening to this

The synth is swinging in and out of pitch, like it should. This is Trent Reznor in a Daft Punk -helmet visiting Squarepusher song. Fun idea to edit in real life sounds to swoosh stab and squak. The "dj scratch" part had a lot of energy!

If there’s one thing I hate it’s when the tenet synth is swinging in and out of pitch. I’m just japing ya, I LOVE it when that happens.
Ok I don’t know what I’m saying but WHATEVER, I LOVE this dude!!
It’s giving NIGHTCALL by Kavinsky and yes of course Daft Punk if you turned them inside out and got their dark underbelly on show! Awesommmeeee

Rad dude!
Loving the wonky tuning on that synth, gives it a nice analogue tape wobble vibe.
That sub bass is so warm and seriously banging with all the filtered counter bass parts. There’s even a bit of psytrance about it. Can’t help but hear a bit of Daft Punk’s ‘Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger’ with the vocoder and short lyrical lines, but you’ve definitely got your own stamp all over this one

Yes, it's not perfect. But, damn, you have a great knack for listenable imperfection. I couldn't not listen. It bops.

Right at the start of FAWM this year, I found the "Guiding Artistic Philosophies" thread. The very first one, the 70% rule, is my goto for this year. https://write.fawm.org/forums/3056?highlight=70%25

Oh this slaps. Expert low-end. is the Tenet synth that high one note? if so, I like it's warbly quality. I would have taken this as an instrumental, but those vocals are very cool and really do push it up a notch

Nice phat sounds! Cool vocals. Definitely creates a space. Yes!
