Liner Notes

#fawmtronica #instrumental #psychedelic #psybient #psychill #soundscape #ambient

I have been listening to a lot of psybient music lately (particularly Suduaya) and thought I would attempt something close to that. I'm not sure I hit the mark, but I think I can craft it properly later if I choose.

There is a track of sounds of the savanna at dusk that runs throughout, hence the name.

Nerd Stuff

Most of the track vamps between Dm and C, so it is roughly D minor. It feels modal in nature so I gues you could say D Aeolian if you like

Will update the instrument and effects list later as I have to hit the road in 20 minutes but wanted to get this posted,

Nothng to see here, move along.

A good reminder that words are kinda beside the point. Invitation to live in the moment and in the body and to breathe for once without being told to. Dancing along on a kitchen chair while the rice cooks.

I like that sort of triple heartbeat rhythm, the heartbeat of the savanna, I suppose. This definitely has a chill feel to it, and like a lot of nature, there's a fair amount going on underneath. This one makes me want to sit back and let it wash over me.

Really dig the sounds in here, nice groove and drums and synth flow well!

Hell, man, this is lovely. Sound design is immaculate, the vibe is killer, and it builds sooo nicely. I'd gladly plop on a 90 minute mix of this and just chill. Super cool.

Beautiful mood. I love this immensely.

Never heard this genre before but it reminds me a bit of prog trance music. Chill, dance, interesting sounddesign....and such a tight production

Great atmospheric sound. Love the way that bass jumps in and drives the song, allowing it to build and build. That drop out around the 1.50 mark is especially cool. You’ve got a great ear for song structure. This stayed interesting all the way through - great work!

Lovely nature samples and a really nice overall vibe. Chill but always moving forward, thanks to the drum beats. Dig the swelling synth pads.

This is sweet. I love bird along with the shimmering synths in the left and right channel. The whole tune feels very natural and full of mystique.

Nice build as the percussion grows in intensity. I don't know anything about the genre you mentioned, but this was a nice ride.
