thank you for the infliction! even a jingle from you is such a delight. what a lighthearted, silly little ditty about something that's kind of fucked up; honestly, that's really REALLY hitting at the moment as the world we've always known slips further and further away. i'm finding, perhaps unsurprisingly, that i appreciate dark humor now more than ever, and yours is certainly no exception to the rule.

anyway, thank you so much for your kind comment on "ash in the air." those words mean a lot coming from you! i've figured out that doing a vocal take and a guitar take is really helpful for making sure i can focus more on the emotion of things when i sing, especially when the songs are so new and the guitar part is essentially impossible to play while singing at the moment. 😜

I think I've made the comparison before, but your songs of this ilk feel so quintessentially British to me, like something from Jasper Carrott or Eric Idle. This made me grin like a maniac.

Bring it on, Brother!!!! OMG...this is hysterical!!!! I'm sold. Love the upright, the levity in your instrumentation, your vocal doodles, your insanely funny lyrics and deadpan delivery. Farlington better be takin' good care of you!
