I love Stanley songs and the title brought me in!! I like the rhythm and the sweetness of the guitar and I love "I hope you dream of good things". I'm with Bill...did Stanley go to sleep or want to just hear the song again??? LOL!!

I get your Dear Prudence concern, but you could do much worse than accidentally sounding a little bit like one of the greatest songs from the most important band of all time. It's mostly just because of the descending bass. It doesn't prevent a listener from enjoying the track or digging in to the other things going on here. For example, that Farfisa sounds amazing. Somehow, it rises to meet the guitar and doesn't get overwhelmed by it. Quite the contrary. It really might be the centerpiece here. Nice work.

I like how the frontline instrumentation is no restful and lullaby-like, but that marching drum beat in the background is so energetic, it creates a kind of interesting contrast, like the cat wants to keep playing even if you want it to sleep (so that, judging from the video, you can sleep too!).

i hear prudence in the bass, but it hardly matters. nothing else in the song sounds like be beatles (thank god) im wondering if this song puts stanley to sleep or does he perk up to say, "play it again, play it again?"
