Liner Notes

So, once again, our idiotic leaders have decided to continue their trip into chaos and stupidity, attempting to eliminate all diversity and inclusive ideas. I once again turned to a guitar to help keep me centered. This time it was my classical guitar and I decided to put a couple of capos on it for the first time ever. A regular capo on the third fret and a partial capo on the 5th. A bunch of parts immediately came pouring out, all surprisingly happy and upbeat sounding.

The latest target is the Department of Education. My mom, grandmother, brother, wife, sister, brother/sister in law and others were/are all teachers and I know how important caring teachers are. It is incomprehensible to me how the administration continues to dumb down the populace with lies and brute force idiocy. They have no idea what they are talking about and have no idea how terrible the impact is going to be on the future of our country.

The power of knowledge and truth will eventually make an impact. I have to keep thinking that, but it is going to be a tough road.

This is just me and my cheap Lucero classical guitar. :)

The openness of that partial capo with the lightness of the classical strings really does make for a lovely, uplifting sound!

Awesome capo work, and that classical guitar sounds great. Yep, it’s head-scratching stuff. I find it so hard to reconcile all the Americans I know (admittedly mainly through this site) and the way the US government is acting, both at home and abroad. We need strong pieces like this to call stuff out, at the moment it feels like the bullies are going unchallenged :(

In Germany we will have a election next Sunday which decides about the future in my country. With huge impacts in Europe! I‘m looking forward to it with big sorrow!
I am a social worker and I know what consequences a turn to the right winged party will have!
The political situation here and in the U.S. frustrates and frightens me a lot! It make me feel totally helpless!

But now about your song!
Yes, you catched an upliftig and also powerfull mood here! It feels good to listen to it!

Great that you find a way to release the tension or at least find some moments of relief.
As some other bands wrote these so called leaders are "dumbing down the world"

Wow this guitar sounds brilliant and beautiful! Yeah this is seriously uplifting and upbeat—in spite of the reality around us. Wow this is super nice! Lots of parts that just flow into each other so smoothly and seamlessly. Great song! Oh, and I think that they know exactly what will happen….they’ve come with a plan and the people to carry it out.
