A lotta our opossum young'uns don't belief in the Fairy God Opossum no more. So the Fairy God Opossum asked me ta write this here song so we can share it with our kidz and help 'em understood that ever opossum baby is a Cinderella story in the making!

I ain't written no songs fer awhile due to dodgin' cars, eatin' garbage and avoidin' critters that wanna eat me alive. So you'll have to pardon my dust (or is that rust?) Maybee my next 'un will be better? Or maybee not! :D Butt hay, it's FAWM so rough is OK, right?

I happened to listen to this when my kids were with me (8 and 10) and we all absolutely loved this song! We have an affinity for opossums after reading the book Apple blossom the Opossum, so this song really spoke to us! I loved how saucy this fairy opossum is too! Truly well written and executed song loved by people of all ages in my house! thanks for this!

I knew this was gonna go off the rails at some point.
Didn't think it was gonna be so soon, tho.

Reading the liner notes, I was like, "Huh, I wonder what the singing voice of an opossum sounds like?" And the moment the vocal started, I went "oh of COURSE! That's EXACTLY how an opossum sings!" Anyway I love this :D
