Liner Notes

@srcoops wrote some cool lyrics and sent them to @cts, Craig then recruited me to truly collaborate where we bounced ideas until something stuck. I sent stems, Craig sent his back, and I turned it into Jelly. That's me on guitar, harmonica, bass, and mixing and mastering; Craig on Fender Rhodes and vocals. #collaboration #jazz #harmonica #laidback

Lyrics

Here she comes
Down the street
Lookin’ oh, so fine
So trim, so neat
She’s my lovin’ girl

My lady’s wearin’
That little grin
That’s just for me
Let the lovin’ begin

She never never never plays
The waiting game
(‘Cos ain’t nobody got time fo’ dat)
Or she never makes me think
I am to blame

She’s my lovin’ lovin’ lovin’
Lovin’ lovin’ lovin’ lovin’ girl
Yes she is…
She’s my lovin’ lovin’ lovin’
Lovin’ lovin’ lovin’ lovin’ girl

She’s all I’ll ever need
She love me good
Yes indeed, yes indeed
She’s my loving girl

Subtle and superb. What a cool listen! Straight into my all-time top ten SrCoops collabs.

GREAT ORGANIC SOUND..LIKE A CLUB. Those sections of harp are just sweet to my ears. CTS does it again with some smooth vox...Mr srcoops penned another classic set of lyrics...keep doing it!!

Agreeing with others saying it feels like a live jam, which is quite an achievement given the various stages in its creation. Love love love the repetition on the chorus, so effective. Harmonica parts are ace. And Craig’s vocal is typically smooth and wonderful, particularly the breaks into falsetto. Cool track!!

This is so slick and sexy. I can imagine it as a cabaret number. Everything works together so perfectly. I am blown away. I totally love it. Going to listen again!

almost feels like a live take at some smoky bar just outside of memphis or something. very classic rootsy love song. love it. :)

Great production. Sounds so clean and airy. A very fine song indeed.

I knew this was going to be good when I first heard the harmonica. Lol. This is a classic in the making! Love the organ and this collaboration. Excellent vocals and backing track!

I really like the way your different styles mesh. Sr. Coop's lyrics are concise and full of feeling - a perfect frame for a happy blues. I concur with Deena about the lovely human touch. The harmonica licks with those little fills on the Rhodes make it feel like a live jam.

My toes were tapping at this delightful 70s-esque jam. Especially with that excellent harmonica line, this makes just want to sit on a rocking chair watching the sunset as a bunch of friends sit around and play just for the sheer joy of it.

Groovy! ❤️

Oh so cool - sweet laid back groove that is sweet and fun. It just sounds like you are having so much fun playing this one and it is certainly fun to listen to. Had my head bobbing and my legs tapping. Oh so good!

Yeah! Makes me tap my toe, for sure. Great arrangement. Great vocals Craig. And some fine harmonica as well. This’ll get them on the dance floor.
[avatar]
Yes, indeed!! So great to hear Craig singing over this sweet bluesy groove. This has lovely human touch.

Love the groove here, v funky! Also really dig Craig's tone w the vocals, love those long notes. Harmonica solo hits it out of the park haha

Yep, I'm "lovin'" those lyrics anyway--and they've obviously inspired a great song from y'all. Wonderful collaboration, gang! ❤️

Oh I never knew I needed bluesy Craig until I heard it. That harmonica is a cool addition. Brilliant collab!

A cool woooo from me (wow is too hot for the coolth here). What a great collab. All these things going on while all I seem to be doing is sorting out the masonry and shooting spammers. A sweetie described in cool lyrics and sweet sound.

Cool Collab.
Loving the Rhodes, vocals and that slinky guitar groove. Harmonica is a nice touch as well. Very nice you three!!!

I too like @esc4p3 got the smoky bar vibe. If I was walking by, I'd pay the cover to go inside and check it out. I think the harmonica adds the most to the smokiness. Great lyrics and great performances all around. Big smiles

Glad to see my man @cts is in the building. Love a bluesy shuffle!!

Such a fun song and collaboration. This is what positivity is about. Not my dramatic works lol. Thank you though for hearing them positively :) Great collaboration. You all rock!

so much to love here, but ill have to go with the harmonica. it provides such blazing counter licks to craigs infatuated vocals.
[avatar]
Thanks for your fine efforts. You two have done a great job with this one. I appreciate your squeezing me into you busy schedule.

Bring it on Boyz!!! Now these are my kinda blues! Not the kind I'm gettin' from the news!
Man that harmonica was jammin, with those saucy vocals delivering straight up love, solid back beat holdin' in down. Tasty cakes! Thanks for making my day Fellas!

Very very smoooooth, as butter, or maybe Jelly! I can imagine a dark club somewhere and through the smoke you guys are on stage, the audience are listening intently. The bass, harmonica, Rhodes and that voice all paint a magical scene. Great Collab 😎
